The Coconut Carbon Block Filters contains activated carbon – often referred to as activated charcoal.

Contaminants in the water are attracted to the surface of the carbon through a process called adsorption (not absorption). These contaminants stick to the carbon, preventing them from passing. This allows the Coconut Carbon Block Filter to remove odour, chloramines (combined chlorine), chlorine, colour, heavy metals and other contaminants whilst improving water taste.

They are Ideal for removal of chlorine and chloramines in town water applications or improving taste of tank water.

Sediment removal is also achieved in the Coconut Carbon Block Filter. Check the micron rating of the filter to discover the sediment removal capability.
