This Water Filter will remove free chlorine and chemicals from your water. It’s ideal for low pressure town water supplies and will have less of an impact on pressure loss at the tap. This filter is ideal for whole house Water Filter Housings that use Water Filters that are 20″ in length and 4.5″ in diameter.

The Chloramine Reduction Coconut Carbon Block Filter contains activated carbon – often referred to as activated charcoal.
Contaminants in the water are attracted to the surface of the carbon through a process called adsorption (not absorption). These contaminants stick to the carbon, preventing them from passing. This allows the Coconut Carbon Block Filter to remove odour, chloramines (combined chlorine), chlorine, colour, heavy metals and other contaminants whilst improving water taste.
They are Ideal for removal of chloramines and free chlorine in town water applications or improving taste of tank water.
Sediment removal is also achieved in the Chloramine Reduction Coconut Carbon Block Filter. this particular Filter has a micron rating of 0.5 meaning that the majority of pathogens cannot pass through.
