The Davey Microlene MC-HOLP is a 45W high-output UV replacement lamp designed specifically for Aquashield Centurion water sterilizers. This germicidal lamp destroys 99.9% of bacteria and viruses by inactivating their DNA, ensuring safe drinking water for your home.

High-Output 45W Germicidal Protection

To maintain the required UV dose for safe water, this lamp must be replaced every 12 months (9,000 hours). Even if the lamp still glows, its UV-C output diminishes over time, leaving your water supply at risk of contamination.

Important: Countdown Timer & Reset Keys

How do I reset my maintenance timer?

For the standard models – the MCS and KMCS, the lamp timers can be reset easily by holding down the button on the controller for 10 seconds after you have replaced the lamp.

For non-standard models like the MCXS and KMCXS, a lamp reset key is required to enable the lamp timer to be reset. This replacement lamp is a technical equivalent lamp but it does not include a reset key or card. While the lamp will function at full germicidal strength to disinfect your water, the lamp timer will be unable to be reset.

Maintenance & Installation Tips

• Handle with Care: Never touch the glass with bare hands; skin oils create “hot spots” that cause premature failure. Use gloves or a clean cloth.
• Inspect Your Sleeve: Check your Quartz Sleeve for mineral buildup. A cloudy sleeve can block 50% of UV light.
• Replace O-Rings: We recommend replacing UV O-Rings during every lamp change to prevent leaks.
