As water passes through the Bag Filter, sediment and dirt is blocked and captured by the filter membrane. Increased water purification is achieved with smaller micron ratings due to smaller sediment and dirt particles being unable to pass the filter membrane.

The design of the Bag Filter means that when it needs to be replaced, there will be a sudden loss in water pressure.
